A few albums that mean a lot to me.
Cracked Rear View by Hootie & the Blowfish
I was mesmerized by the guitar lick in "Time" the first time I heard it on the radio. That song drove me to the nearest record store to pick up the album. This was one of the first albums I ever bought myself. I started by only listening to "Time" and the other hit singles, but my mom helped convince me to listen to it straight through and thus it became part of the soundtrack of my teenage years.
Charity of Night by Bruce Cockburn
My late stepfather introduced us to Bruce Cockburn and John Gorka on long drives. Between Cockburn's ability to write eloquently on important issues in the world and his beautiful guitar playing, I became a huge fan.

There's a lot to say about what this album means to me and I'm not sure how to explain it all. A friend played it for me in high school and it spoke to a part of myself that I had buried and hidden and it eventually helped me remember who I really was deep down and helped me break away from a life that wasn't really me. It made an impact in my life like no other album ever had before and like no other has since.
I don't know why I wasn't doing this before, but I've decided that my own website is the best place for me to keep any guitar/ukulele tabs as well as any sheet music that I transcribe. I transcribed the recorder sheet music to match the original key and so some songs are transcribed for either soprano or alto in mind but may be interchangable.
